I, Skarbs, HIKED the 3 highest peaks in Africa in January of 2012, all to raise money for the 3 "peak issues" in East Africa: Education, Health, and Environment. East Africa is a place close to my heart. I know the difference that love, belief, and understanding can make in this beautiful part of the world. We made it to the summit!

Hey all,

We conquered Mt. Kenya at 6am yesterday morning. We woke up at 2am, started hiking at 3, and hiked all the way through until 5:30 pm. It was an insane day. Here is a picture from near he top after our summit, and a picture when we arrived at the campsite late in the afternoon absolutely exhausted from the day, and in the rain! More pictures and updates tomorrow when we transfer to Arusha, when I can get pictures off of my proper camera.
